Decent Homes Refurbishment Contract supplied by Quickbase

The St Anthony’s Road, Walker, Newcastle contract is part of the Decent Homes Refurbishment project

St Astier Ltd. were contracted by Turney Wylde Construction Ltd to supply and fit the innovative Quickbase Foundation System for the extensions being installed for the project. The Quickbase Systems were designed and manufactured to the precise requirements of the project.

The works were scheduled to last twelve weeks, and in this time over 20 homes were due to receive improvements. The end goal was to build extensions to house new bathrooms and kitchens.

Each property had an individually specific design, factoring into account the location of drainage systems and water pipes, along with the consideration of adjoining properties.

The systems were designed and manufactured off site, then delivered ready for assembly, proving hugely beneficial for sites with poor access.

By using the Quickbase Foundation System, difficult ground conditions could be overcome and the projects were completed efficiently and consistently.
